The Good News:  I went to a “Pinterest Party” tonight and my daughter Shannon went with me!  We had fun!  There were about 10 women there and we had such a nice time talking, eating and creating!  Each person contributed to the pot luck dinner (preferably with a dish that was inspired by something that was posted on Pinterest. I brought a “John Wayne Casserole” and “Salted Caramel Pretzel Block” – yummy!)

Then there were two stations where we had fun creating something that was pinned on Pinterest.  One craft was to make a fabric flower and embellish it; it could be used to decorate a lampshade, or worn on a hat, or jacket, etc.  The other “craft” was decorating sugar cookies with icing and colored sugar or jimmies, etc.  Here are photos of my two craft projects:

 The Bad News:  I had a flat tire this morning!  But Infinity of Denver (located at 2990 S. Havana St. Aurora, CO 80014) was really great in that they sent a guy right to my house to help me (because there is a locking lug nut that needs a “key” in order to remove it and change the tire and we didn’t have a key.)  So I guess my bad news turned into good news because I received such great customer service from this dealership.  Thanks Infinity of Denver!!
